Professor Gillespie has had numerous radio and television appearances including National Public Radio and ABC network TV’s “Good Morning America” with Charles Gibson, CBS network’s TV’s “The Early Show” with Bryant Gumbel, and CNN cable network’s “Larry King Weekend” with Larry King. Also, CNN News, CNN Headline News, CNN International, C-Span, TNN, the Travel Channel, MTV, and the History Channel.

On a more local level, Gillespie has his own show “Old Ways in New Jersey,” produced by East Brunswick Television (EBTV). This is one of a number of local shows produced in addition to the routine coverage of such things as Township Council Meetings. Gillespie has produced some 105 different half-hour shows since 2008 including studio interviews with authors, ethnic specialists, musicians, and craftspeople. He has also produced a number of on-site shows with visits to ethnic restaurants, historic buildings, museums, and farms.
